// lasersmith.co / about
A laser cutting workshop founded in 2026 by two brothers in Okara — built from one machine and a refusal to accept slow, expensive, inaccessible metalwork. No middlemen. No fluff. Just a machine, two people who care, and relentless attention to detail.

01 / beginning
LaserSmith Co. was founded in 2026 by two brothers — Munib Ahmed and Adil Aziz — in a rented workshop in Okara, Punjab. The idea was simple: laser cutting in Pakistan was expensive, slow, and inaccessible to small businesses and individuals. They wanted to change that — not with a pitch deck, but with a machine and a WhatsApp number.
Being a two-man startup means every order goes through the same hands that run the machine. No layers, no handoffs — just two brothers who take it personally when a cut isn't right, and won't ship until it is.
02 / craft
Most customers don't care about kerf width or focal length. They care about whether the gift is ready before the wedding. Whether the sign looks sharp outside the office. Whether their logo came out the way they imagined it.
That's what we actually sell. The machine is just the tool. The real work happens in the conversation before the cut — understanding what you need, and then executing it without excuses.
03 / why metal
We focus exclusively on metal — Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Galvanised Steel, and Aluminium. Not because we can't cut other materials, but because metal has a permanence that wood and acrylic don't. A steel sign outside your shop lasts decades. A steel wall piece becomes a family heirloom.
Choosing one material class and mastering it completely is better than being mediocre at everything.
"Sub-millimetre precision is not a feature. It's the baseline."
— LaserSmith Co., Workshop Rule #1
01
Every order starts on WhatsApp — no ticket systems, no chat bots, no contact forms. You talk directly to the person handling your job.
02
Order one piece or a thousand. We price by weight and cut complexity, not arbitrary MOQs. The minimum spend is just PKR 500.
03
No DXF file? No problem. Send a sketch, a photo, or a description. We convert it into a cut-ready file — a small design fee applies for complex work.
04
Our instant quote tool shows real material and cutting costs — weight-based, not gut-feel. The price you see is what you pay, plus courier.
05
TCS and Leopards Courier — 2 to 4 working days to your door anywhere in Pakistan after production is done.
06
MS, SS, GS, Aluminium — that's the full menu. Specialisation means the machine is set up right, the operators know the material, and the output is consistent.
metal_ms
The workhorse. Used for structural parts, wall art, signage, and decorative pieces. Rusts without finishing — usually powder coated or painted.
metal_ss
Corrosion resistant, polished finish. Ideal for outdoor signage, kitchen fixtures, marine environments, and premium branding applications.
metal_gs
Pre-coated zinc layer provides corrosion resistance without extra finishing. Common for outdoor installations, gates, and utility enclosures.
metal_aluminium
Lightweight, non-magnetic, corrosion resistant. Used for aerospace prototypes, decorative panels, jewellery blanks, and precision parts.
From day one to right now — a startup's journey told in steel, late nights, and fractions of a millimetre.
2026 / Q1
Brothers Munib Ahmed and Adil Aziz set up the workshop in Okara. First machine installed. First order: a steel nameplate for a local business. It took three attempts to get it right.
2026 / Q2
Word spreads in Okara. Customers return. The quote calculator launches — first version was a spreadsheet. Stainless Steel and Aluminium added to the materials list.
2026 / Q3
First orders from Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad. TCS and Leopards added as courier partners. The full website and instant quote tool go live.
